Irina Kozlovskaya was born in Saint Petersburg, Russia to a family of architects.
Since age seven, she studied at the St Petersburg youth design center.

After moving to the US in 1997, she continued her studies in art and design, graduating from the Rhode Island school of design in 2005 with a BA in Industrial design. Graduating with honors, she received the Mary E. Edward Scholarship, as well as the Rhode Island School of Design award of excellence.

Since, she has worked with such companies as LG, Avalon products, Smrt case, and Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia.
